What Your Palm Tells About You

Did you know that the lines on your palm were not instilled at birth?  As a matter of fact, they aren’t formed until we actually move forward in our lives and begin to form and change according to our behavior and experiences.   

I always thought palm reading was a means of determining my fate ... you know, a form of fortune telling.  But in actuality; it is how we live our lives that determine what our palm looks like.  See if you can tell your story by using the diagram to the left.

The knowledge about your life and who you are as a person is truly right there in the palm of your hand.

Your Heart/Love Line ~  refers to emotions and situations associated with love. 

If your line, starts directly under your index finger, you are content with your life.  If it begins right below your middle finger, then this indicates a selfish and materialistic outlook about love.  Should your line fall between the middle and index finger, you tend to give your heart away too easily.  A line that is straight and short tells of a high sex drive and little concern for romance.  One that points down and touches the life line says its easy for you to have your heart broken.  A long and curvy line indicates you freely express your emotions and feelings to others.  And lastly, a straight and parallel line to the head palm line indicates you have a good handle on your emotions.

Some variations in your love line:

• if your love line is wavy, you may have a slew of relationships and lovers, but a lack of serious relationships.

• a circle on the line tells of depression in your life & a broken line of emotional trauma, as does a heart line with smaller lines crossing through it.
• small lines stretching above the heart line show happiness in love where lines that stretch down indicate disappointment.

Your Head Palm Line ~ how you think, your beliefs, morals & attitude toward life.

A line that curves and slopes indicates much creativity.  If you have a short line, however, you prefer working toward physical achievements rather than mental ones.  A line that is separated says you enjoy adventure and have a great enthusiasm for life.  If you line is wavy, you have a short attention span and don't really enjoy pondering too deeply.  A line that is deep, long and stretches horizontally across your palm, says your thinking is clear and focused and the straighter your line, the more realistic you are.

Some variations of your head palm line:

• If you have a donut or cross in your head palm line, you’ve been through an emotional crisis.
• A broken line indicates you are inconsistent in the way you think and may have even suffered a nervous breakdown
• Multiple crosses through your line represent momentous decisions in your life.

Your Life Line ~ tells about the quality of your life. 

If your line tends to run close to your thumb, it indicates that you are often tired.  A curvy line, however, means you have a lot of energy.  A line that is long and deep says you will have a long, healthy life filled with vitality.  However, a short and shallow line indicates that you let others control your life for you.  If your line swoops around in a semicircle, you have a tremendous strength and enthusiasm about life.  If your line is straight and stays close to the edge of your palm, you are extremely cautious when it comes to relationships and generally hold back from love.  If you have two-three life lines, you certainly have extra vitality and much positivity around you.

Some variations of your life line:

• A circle in your palm life line indicates that you were hospitalized or injured.
• A break indicates a sudden change in lifestyle, such as an accident, illness or heartbreak.
•  Lines extend up and beyond your life line, you are good recovering bad situations.
•  Lines extend below your life line means you tend to waste energy.
