- Go to “start menu” and type this “gpedit.msc” in run
- This will open up a window “Local Group policy Editor”
- In left panel go to “Local computer policy”
- Then go to “Administrative Templates” under “Computer Configuration”
- In right panel go to “Network” folder and open it
- Now double click on “QOS Packet Scheduler” to open it
- Here you’ll see file with name “Limit Reservable Bandwidth” double click on it
- A window will open with options like. Not Configured, Enable , and Disable
- By default “not configured” option is selected, but see detail it says “the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.”
- To remove it select “Enable” option under “not configured” option
- When you enable it, another option of “Bandwidth Limit” will enable and its value is 20%
- Change this vale to 0% and press ok
- Close “Local Group policy Editor” and your internet speed will increase up to 20%
