The dreaded disease 'morning', extreme nausea and vomiting, will affect about 90% of pregnant women. Just because women have to go through this is not known, but there are some things you can do to minimize this unpleasant part of the pregnancy.
1. Ask your medical advisor if you can take vitamin B6. A dose of 100 mg / day has been shown to reduce the feeling of nausea.
2. Eating foods rich in B vitamins: Examples are nuts, chicken, fish, liver and advocados.
3. Take frequent sips of liquids such as water, broth, tea and lemonade. This can help in two ways: when you vomit you lose a lot of fluids and is important to keep your body hyderated at all times, and even vomiting make it less objectionable, if you have something to propose. Vomiting when the stomach is empty is even more unpleasant when you have something to propose.
4. Avoid foods with strong odors, such as fried or spicy foods, such as plates, can make you feel nausea and induce vomiting.
5. Snack little and often. When you go to bed or biscuits muffins at your bedside and nibble them, if you wake during the night.
6. High in carbohydrates are more likely to stay down and prevent hunger. Suggested foods are bread, rice and pasta.
7. If you do not want to eat, do not. If you eat will make you feel sick and make you vomit, it makes no sense. Nutritionly will not benefit if the food comes right back up.
Morning sickness is the least pleasant of being pregnant. How long varies by women for women. Just keep reminding yourself that it will end.
